Clara Ellen Kasten, 87, of Barry, IL, passed away at 12:09 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, in Barry Healthcare & Senior Living in Barry.She was born September 23, 1936, in New Canton, IL, a daughter of Richard and Marian (Hathaway) Smith.She is survived by a sister Dora (Joe) Fesler of Barry, IL, two brothers, George Smith of Barry, IL and Kenneth (Deb) Smith of Mendon, IL, a sister-in-law Joye Smith, and many nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Bill Smith and Leroy Smith, a sister-in-law Sandy Smith and a nephew Travis Smith.Clara was a graduate of West Pike High School. She devoted her life to providing in home care of the elderly.
