Mr. Shawn Dale Meyers, 63, of Hull, Illinois, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.He was born December 5, 1961, in Hannibal, MO, to Bernard & Delores (Duncan) Meyers. They survive in Hull.He married Brigitte Butler on June 4, 2011, in New Canton, IL. She survives in Hull.In addition to his parents and his wife Brigitte, he is also survived by 1 son Dustin Meyers of Quincy, IL, 1 step daughter Stephanie Little of Barry, IL, 5 grandsons, Austin Meyers of Hannibal, MO, Eli Meyers, of Hannibal, MO, Tyler Little of Barry, IL, Dakota Meyers of St. Louis, MO, and Tristan Wood, of Barry, IL, 1 granddaughter Layla Wood of Barry, IL, 1 brother Lance Meyers of Hull, IL, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.Shawn was preceded in death by an infant sister Dee Anna Meyers and 1 great nephew Pravyn McBride.Shawn was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking.
