Stanley 'Stan' Smith, 72, of Milton, Ill., died January 18, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. Services will be January 23, at 11:30 a.m., at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Burial with military honors performed by Pittsfield American Legion Post 152 will follow at Douglas Cemetery, near Milton. Visitation will be January 23, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
