Gordon Truman Scranton, 83, of rural Detroit, Ill., died January 18, 2025, at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield, Ill. Service will be January 24, at 11 a.m. at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Interment will follow the service at Blue River Cemetery in Detroit, Visitation will be January 23, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Visitation held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
