Betty Jo Daniels, age 86 of Griggsville, IL passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on May 22, 1938, in White House, TN to Ruben and Josephine (Marley) Sanders. She married Henry J. Daniels, and he preceded her in death on August 12, 1993.
Betty grew up between Tennessee and Chicago, IL. Eventually moving to Pike County to be closer to family. She attended Cosmetology School in Joliet, IL. Betty worked at the Garment Factory for a time, before becoming a full-time housewife and stay at home mom. She was the rock of the family and was always there for each and every one. She was a great cook and enjoyed family get togethers. Her house was the hub where the family always gathered. Betty was a meticulous house cleaner, and also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, watching old movies and had several favorite shows she always watched.
